Andy Spicer
Director
Andy S began his mechanical plumbing apprenticeship in 2006 in England, and soon after qualifying, started running his own installation projects. During the winter months, he focused on service and maintenance work across commercial sites, which helped solidify his knowledge of HVAC systems. He later gained his commercial gas ticket and spent several years working as a boiler technician and gas engineer.
In 2018, Andy moved to Australia, working with Tier 1 mechanical plumbing companies in Sydney on both small and large projects. He then spent three years as NSW State Manager, delivering HVAC upgrades at supermarkets and managing service and reactive work on gas-fired equipment before returning to site work.
With years of technical knowledge, installation experience, and a keen eye for detail, Andy brings a 'can do' attitude, a positive outlook, and strong problem-solving skills to every job.

New-build and retrofit plant rooms delivered end to end: plant setting, headers, pumps, valve sets and lagging, all coordinated in tight spaces.

Air and water-cooled chiller installation and replacement, including rigging, pipework connections, pressure testing and witness commissioning.

Air-source and hydronic heat pump installations for commercial buildings, with pipework, buffer vessels and integration into existing plant.

Gas-fired and electric boiler installation, replacement and pipework — carried out by licensed technicians with full gas certification.

Air handling unit installation, replacement and refurbishment, including coil connections, condensate, flexible joints and access provisions.

Fan coil unit installation at scale across tenancies and residential towers — bracketry, valve packs, drains and duct connections.

Cooling tower installation and change-outs including basin works, make-up water, dosing lines and condenser water connections.

Welded and grooved condenser water reticulation from tower to plant, pressure tested, flushed and lagged to specification.

CHW mains, risers and branch pipework with vapour-sealed insulation, balancing valve sets and full flushing and testing records.

HHW distribution pipework from boiler or heat pump plant through risers to terminal units, welded and tested to spec.

Split, multi-split and packaged condenser unit installation, including plinths, anti-vibration mounts and refrigerant connections.

Brazed and pressure-tested refrigerant pipework for VRF/VRV and ducted systems, with branch selectors, insulation and leak testing to manufacturer spec.
